The main site is located at Weatherford, Oklahoma, visible on the south side of I-40, between exits 82 and 84. Traveling westward take I-40 exit 84 to stop sign. Turn left and follow signs to Heartland Museum. Traveling eastward take exit 82 to first city traffic light, turn left, cross over I-40 bridge; turn left noting large Wal-Mart store left (note map) and follow the map's blue arrows to museum. Museum is readily visible on south side of I-40.
